What incentives are me and my girlfriend (unmarried) eligible for as first time home buyers?

It seems that there are many programs out there for first time home buyers. I’d like to take advantage of whatever is available to us… we are buying a home in Tracy, California (San Joaquin county). We both work full time but only make about k a year combined.

First Time Home Buyer…Questions?

I know NOTHING about buying a home but my husband and I would like to get started on the process. Could anyone help me out with the millions of questions I have? Possibly through e-mail? Thanks!

Oh, and it is in California. But I would like advice on buying a home in general.
